Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone to shoot in Dal Lake, Pahalgam

Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are all set to begin the next schedule of their aerial action thriller film ‘Fighter’ in the Kashmir Valley.

According to reports, director Siddharth Anand, cinematographer Satchit Paulose and action director Sunil Rodrigues have reached Kashmir along with Hrithik and Deepika.

They will be filming some action sequences and portions of a song at various locations in the valley. As per sources, the crew has set various locations for the schedule including Dal Lake, and parts of Srinagar and Pahalgam.

The team is expected to return to Mumbai next week for a quick break, before heading to Hyderabad for the third schedule.

Before leaving Mumbai, Deepika was seen wearing an oversized floral jacket over a black high-neck sweater teamed with blue jeans and black boots.

Hrithik opted for an all-black gym outfit and was seen hugging actor Akshay Oberoi at the airport.

Anil Kapoor is scheduled to join the unit in March during the Mumbai schedule. As some areas of the IAF Academy are restricted to the public, production designer Rajat Poddar will build a set depicting the interiors of the institute.

Reports say that apart from this, elaborate sets and hangars of an airport will be built. Another set-up would be created to film the graduation party scene, in which Hrithik and his classmates would be presented with wings. Siddharth intends to wrap up the principal shoot by April, after which the VFX work will begin in January 2024. (Agencies)
