IED found at Jammu Nagrota defused

Major tragedy averted by J&K Police by timely detecting an IED planted by terrorists at Panjgrain Nagrota on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. IED weighing 3 kgs was destroyed by Bomb Disposal Squad.

A suspicious object was spotted alongside highway at Nagrota in Jammu.Technical examination of object was initiated. Suspicious object found at was an IED.

It has been destroyed by the Technical Team/BDS through a controlled mechanism. Case registered: SSP Jmu
