Israel Iran War : Iran launches over 100 missiles towards Israel

Iran has launched ballistic missiles “towards Israel,” according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Tuesday night, marking a significant uptick in the crisis in West Asia.

According to Tehran Times, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said that they attacked the “heart of the occupied territories” in retaliation for “the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Martyr Nilforooshan.”

Iran has pledged “retaliation in its right time after,” after Israel’s actions in the region against Iran’s allies, notably Hezbullah.

According to Press TV, Iran has fired more than 400 missiles in the direction of Israel.

US President Joe Biden had earlier declared that he and his deputy, Kamala Harris, had called a meeting of the national security team to talk about Iranian preparations for a supposed “imminent” assault.

The vice president and I met with our national security team this morning to talk about Iran’s preparations to attack Israel with missiles soon. We talked about how the US is ready to support Israel in fending off these assaults and safeguard US soldiers stationed there, Biden said on X.
