ATTENTION :- In view of inclement weather prediction issued by MeT department (rain and snowfall) in J&K for next few days, there are chances of blockade of NHW -44. People are advised to avoid journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW-44.

However, subject to fair weather and better road condition, Light Motor Vehicles (passenger) shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (Commuters are advised to follow the SOP issued by the Govt. to prevent the spread of Covid 19)

LMVs from Zig (Qazigund) 0700 hrs to 1200 hrs
No Vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timing.

HMVs/Load Carriers
Only stranded Vehicles between Jawahar Tunnel and Zig (Qazigund) shall be allowed towards Jammu. However, TCU Ramban will co-ordinate for release of oil tankers and fresh perishable carriers in the opposite direction.
