Prepaid Internet Services being Restored in Kashmir tonight : J&K Police

After a gap of more than six months, pre-paid mobile internet services will be resumed in Kashmir Valley.

Both post paid and prepaid mobile voice calling and internet were
banned in Kashmir valley from July 8 after the killing of HM commander Burhan Wani with his two associates in an encounter at South Kashmir’s Kokarnag area of Anantnag District.


On October 14, prepaid mobile services were restored across Kashmir after remaining suspended for 98 days. However, mobile internet service continued to remain suspended. Postpaid internet service was restored
in Kashmir valley after remaining suspended for 133 days. Currently, only post-paid mobile users
were enjoying internet services.
