Chaudhary Lal Singh visits students injured in accident at hospital

Former Minister and Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan (DSS) chief Chaudhary Lal Singh visited GMC, Kathua to check the nine injured students which met a serious accident outside their school (DS Heritage Scholars School) on Barwal Morh in Kathua, Jammu, this afternoon.

Soon, after the incident the former minister went there to take cognizance of their health.

Reacting on the incident, Singh, said, “These are 12th class boys & girl students, who are wounded in this accident. The school should have get them on the bus within their premises and not on national highway”.

“What happened with kids is very unfortunate and the school administration should have boarded them inside the school and not on the road as it is not a street”, he said.

“These speeding cars will not stop coming and weather wasn’t clear today. Nobody wants to kill children, but the school regime should have this common sense that they should refrain from boarding students on national highway”, he added.

“This medical college of Kathua is in shambles and people are being further referred from here. They can’t even nurse minor gashes here. They even lack basic medical care and the locals are bearing its brunt” he said.
