Tirupati Balaji temple inaugurated in Jammu
Tirupati Balaji temple Built on a 62-acre land, with an approximate cost of Rs.30 crores, Lord Sri Venkateswara Temple in Jammu was constructed in a span of approximately 2 years.
Located in the picturesque Shivalik range in Majeen area, this is the only Tirupati Balaji Temple in North India and the sixth constructed outside of Andhra Pradesh with the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams having previously built temples in Hyderabad, Chennai, Kanyakumari, Delhi, and Bhubaneswar.
The Temple is set to become one of the largest temples in the Jammu region and is expected to boost religious and pilgrimage tourism in the region.
A Vedic School is also likely to be started in the temple complex.
