Animal Husbandry Dept Jammu Operates Driver Waiting List
Operating of waiting list – Appointment of Drivers (Division/District Cadres) in Animal Husbandry Department, Jammu thereof.

ORDER:- 53 – DAHJ of 2026 DATED:- 12 – 02 – 2026
On the recommendations of Jammu & Kashmir Service Selection Board conveyed vide communication No:- JKSSB-Scry/4/2024-03 (E-7411217) dated:- 23.05.2025, pursuant to Administrative Department’s communication referred above and on the basis of the Character & Antecedents report received from the Criminal Investigation Department, J&K, sanction is hereby accorded to the temporary appointment of candidates shown in the Annexure to this order as Drivers (Division & District Cadres) in the Pay level-02 (19900-63200) in the Jammu & Kashmir Animal Husbandry (Subordinate) Services, with immediate effect.
The appointees shall report to Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Talab Tilloo, Jammu within a period of twenty one (21) days from the date of issuance of this order and if any candidate fails to join within the stipulated time, he/she shall forego his/her right to appointment which shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio without any further Notice, as per the Circular issued by the General Administration Department, J&K vide No:- 08-JK(GAD) of 2019 dated:- 04.12.2019.

The appointee shall be allowed to join only on the production of the following documents/certificates (in original) to be verified subsequently:-
1/ Academic/Qualification Certificate;
2/ Matriculation/Date of Birth Certificate;
3/ Valid HGV/PSV Driving license;
4/ Health Certificate from the concerned Chief Medical Officer of the District;
5/ Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority;
6/ Valid relevant Category Certificate, if any, applicable.
The appointment of the candidates shown in the Annexure to this order shall further be subject to the following conditions:-
a/ The appointee shall furnish an Undertaking in the shape of an Affidavit to the effect that if on verification, his/her Driving license & Qualification/Date of Birth/Reserved Category certificates from the concerned issuing authorities is found fake/forged, his/her appointment as Driver in the Jammu & Kashmir Animal Husbandry (Subordinate) Services shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio and legal action as warranted under rules shall be initiated against him/her;
b/ Affidavit as per Circular No:- 06-JK(GAD) of 2023 dated:- 06.02.2023 with the contents:-
“That if the candidate has taken loan for self employment from DIC/ Employment Department, to be ascertained from the District Industries Centre (DIC) and District Employment & Counseling Centre of the domicile district, he/she shall relinquish the proprietorship of unit/enterprise and also stakes, if any, in such self employment unit/enterprise before joining the Government service. He/She shall be required to repay the entire loan liability in suitable EMIs to be worked out by the DDO concerned from him/her salary. DDO concerned shall obtain an affidavit from the concerned appointee regarding both relinquishment of proprietorship and stakes, if any, in such a self employment unit/enterprise and recovery to be made and also personally monitor its recovery”.

c/ The salary of the appointee shall not be drawn and disbursed to him/her unless the satisfactory reports in respect of genuineness of Driving license & Qualification/Date of Birth/Reserved Category certificates are received from the concerned Authorities/Agencies;
d/ The appointee shall be on probation for a period of two years;
e/ The appointment of the candidate shall be governed by the “New Pension Scheme” as notified vide SRO-400 of 2009 dated:- 24.12.2009;
f/ The inter-se-seniority of the appointee shall be determined as per the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956;
g/ The appointment of the appointees shown in the Annexure to this order shall be subject to outcome of writ petition(s), if any, pending before Competent Court of law.
