Central University Jammu Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow(JRF)/Project Fellow in IUAC Sponsored

Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the Department of Physics & Astronomical Sciences of the University.
1. Name of the Temporary Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)- 01
2. Name of the Research Project : “Development of Engineered Ripple-Patterned Surfaces for Enhanced SERS Detection of Water-Soluble Dyes”
3. Name of the Sponsoring Agency : Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC) New Delhi
4 Tenure of the Project : 03 Years
5 Tenure of the Assignment : 03 Years (one year in the beginning and may be extended up to two more years based on performance)
6 Job Description : To carry out the research work in the field of ion beam induced nano-structuring of semiconductor surfaces
7. Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship : For NET/GATE qualified candidates: Rs. 25,000/- per month for the
initial two years and Rs 28,000/- only per month for third/final year. Rs.14,000 (1st& 2nd year) Rs.16,000 (3rd year) [for Non-NET/Non-GATE] 8. Essential Qualifications and experience : M.Sc.in Physics/Applied Physics or allied subject >55% or equivalent CGPA
9. Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences : Valid GATE & NET Score
10. Accommodation : Accommodation in the Institute may be provided subject to availability.
11. Terms : The services of the selected candidate will be as per UGC guidelines.The project fellowship is a full time position. The selected candidate shall not draw money from any other source.
