Conduct of PET/PST for Posts in Fire & Emergency Services J&K

It is for the information of all those eligible candidates who had applied for selection against Non Gazetted Direct Quota Posts advertised in 2013 vide Advertisement Notices No. 01 & 02 of 2013 dated 12.03.2013, that the PST/PET shall be conducted as per the schedule and at the venues as shown below

The eligible candidates can download the Admit Cards from 26th September, 2018 onwards.

In case of any grievances in this regard, shall be redressed by the TRP agency on day to day basis through their camp offices at provincial headquarters of Fire & Emergency Services Gandhi Nagar Jammu/ Batamaloo Srinagar From 25th September upto 2nd of October, 2018.

The details of PST/PET to be conducted are as under:-

Shall not be less than 1.68 metres in height and having chest measurement of not less than 86 cms when expanded with an expansion of not less than 5 cms;

Shall have to satisfy the Departmental Recruitment Board of its ability to carry a person weighing between 63.5 and 75.5 kgs to a distance of 91.44 metres in a time not exceeding 60 seconds;

Shall run two and half kms within 12 minutes;

Shall perform twenty five bent knee sit ups within 90 seconds;

Shall, from a completely extended arm position, pull the body upward so as to chin the horizontal bar being grasped by the hand, palm away, a total of five consecutive times;

Shall, when given a beam secured to the level floor and masonry seven metres long by seven to ten cms wide and given a length of fire-hose weighing atleast 17 kgs. Shall walk the length of beam, carrying the length of the hose, without falling off or stepping off the beam
