Notification of Pre & Post Matric Scholarship to scheduled caste students: 2025-26
Directorate of Social Welfare Jammu invites application forms under the following Scholarship schemes through National Scholarship Portal (NSP) of the Government of India on which the students can apply under URL: www.scholarships.gov.in
* Pre Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Caste Students (9th & 10th Classes only)
* Post Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Caste Students (11th Class onwards)
* Pre-Matric & Opening of Portal 10 July 2025
* Post Matric Last Date for application submission 15 October 2025
* Scholarship to Last Date for INO level verification 30 October 2025
* SC Students Last Date for DNO level verification 15 November 2025
For applicants
* Applicants are advised to apply online on the website of National Scholarship Portal at: www.scholarships.gov.in
* Steps for applying on NSP
One Time Registration (OTR)Â is a unique number allotted to the student which is required to apply for the scholarships on National Scholarship Portal from AY 2025-26 and is applicable for entire academic career on National Scholarship Portal.
Generate OTR
* Download and install the Face RD App from Google Play Store
* Download and install NSP OTR App from Google Play Store
* Complete the face-authentication using option “eKYC with FaceAuth” on NSP OTR Mobile App.
Apply for Scholarship on NSP
(Using the OTR and Password generated, student shall apply for scholarship by providing required details)
* Detailed ‘Instructions’ for filling in online application and “Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are available on the National Scholarship Portal homepage.
For Universities/Institutes/Colleges/Schools
* All Universities / Institutes/Colleges/Schools have valid AISHE/U-DISE/NCVT/SCVT codes, located in & outside the State/UT whose students avail these scholarships are advised to register themselves and get their KYC and Aadhaar-Demo-Authentication and Bio-Authentication done in co-ordination with concerned DSWO / District Manager CSC at the earliest. They are also advised to get their courses details updated on the NSP at the earliest so that their students can apply and they can verify such applications on the Portal within the timelines. The timelines need to be adhered to strictly.

* Domicile Certificate
* Category Certificate
* Aadhar Seeded Bank Account Details (First Pace of the passbook to the uploaded showing correct account No. & IFSC Code of the Bank.
* Income Certificate from Tehsildar
* Marks sheet of previous year class passed.
* Original Fee Receipt of current class
* Students Aadhar linked Mobile Number & E-mail ID.
