Announcement of Centrally Sponsored Pre & Post Matric Scholarship under PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM-YASASVI) to OBC, EBC & DNT students for the year 2025–26
The Directorate of Social Welfare Jammu invites application forms under the following scholarship schemes through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) of the Government of India, on which students can apply under the URL www.scholarships.gov.in.
• Pre Matric Scholarship for OBC, EBC & DNT Students (9th & 10th Classes only)
• Post Matric Scholarship for OBC, EBC & DNT Students (11th class onwards)
Pre-Matric Scholarship (OBC, EBC & DNT Students)
Last date for application submission: 31 December 2025
Last date for INO level verification: 15 January 2026
Last date for DNO level verification: 31 January 2026
Post-Matric Scholarship (OBC, EBC & DNT Students)
Last date for application submission: 31 December 2025
Last date for INO level verification: 15 January 2026
Last date for DNO level verification: 30 January 2026
For Applicants
Applicants are advised to apply online on the website of the National Scholarship Portal at www.scholarships.gov.in.
Steps for applying on NSP
Register on NSP. Students need to register on NSP by entering their details and Aadhaar/Aadhaar Enrolment ID/Bank Account number.
Apply for Scholarship on NSP using the ID and password generated after registration by providing required details.
Detailed “Instructions” for filling in online application and “Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)” are available on the National Scholarship Portal homepage.
For Universities/Institutes/Colleges/Schools
All Universities/Institutes/Colleges/Schools having valid AISHE/U-DISE/NCVT/SCVT codes, located in and outside the State/UT whose students avail these scholarships, are advised to register themselves and get their KYC and Aadhaar-Demo-Authentication done at the earliest. They are also advised to get their course details updated on the NSP at the earliest so that their students can apply and they can verify such applications on the portal within the timelines. The timelines need to be adhered to strictly.
