District Social Welfare Reasi Pre & Post Matric Scholarship Notice
Notification of Centrally Sponsored Pre & Post Matric Scholarship under PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM–YASASVI) to OBC, EBC & DNT students for the year 2025–26.
The Directorate of Social Welfare Jammu invites application forms under the following scholarship schemes through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) of the Government of India, available at www.scholarships.gov.in.
Eligible students may apply for :
Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC, EBC and DNT Students (9th & 10th classes only).
Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC, EBC and DNT Students (11th class onwards).
Timeline for Pre-Matric Scholarship:
Last date for application submission : 31st December 2025
Last date for INO level verification : 15th January 2026
Last date for DNO level verification : 31st January 2026
Timeline for Post-Matric Scholarship:
Last date for application submission : 31st December 2025
Last date for INO level verification : 15th January 2026
Last date for DNO level verification : 30th January 2026
For Applicants :
Applicants are advised to apply online on the National Scholarship Portal at www.scholarships.gov.in.
Steps for applying on NSP:
Register on NSP:
Students must register by entering their details and Aadhaar/Aadhaar Enrolment ID/Bank Account Number.
Apply for Scholarship on NSP:
Using the ID and password generated during registration, students must fill out the scholarship form and upload required details.
Important Instructions :

Detailed instructions, online application help, and FAQs are available on the National Scholarship Portal.

Universities/Institutes/Colleges/Schools must have valid AISHE/U-DISE/NCVT/SCVT codes.

Institutes located outside the student’s State/UT must register on NSP and complete KYC and Aadhaar Demo-Authentication early.

Institutes must update course details on NSP early so students can apply on time.

Institutes must verify applications strictly within the given timelines.
