Filling up the Posts of Executive Officers in Urban Local Bodies of Jammu/Kashmir
Whereas vide Advertisement Notice No. 1-HUD of 2015, Dated. 01-09-2015, applications for filling up the posts of “Executive Officers” in Urban Local Bodies of Jammu & Kashmir Divisions under direct recruitment quota were invited and minimum qualification as prescribed under Jammu & Kashmir Urban Local Body .u r at jk up date s. Institutions (Management) Service Recruitment Rules 2008 (SRO 417 Of 2008) was notified as under:-
“Bachelors Degree from a recognized University with diploma in Local Self Government (LSGD) Or MBA from any recognized University/Institution”
Whereas department decided to hold the written examination through Service Selection Board, without assigning any weightage to the criteria for selection notified vide Advertisement Notice, Dated. 01-09-2015 and applicants who applied for the post of “Executive Officers” in response to the criteria for selection laid down in the .u r at jk up date s.notice Dated. 01-09-2015 and desirous to withdraw their candidature in view of revised criteria/procedure for recruitment were advised/directed vide corrigendum to advertisement notice Dated. 01-09-2015 to withdraw their application forms by or before 31-03-2018; and
Whereas consequent upon above, the applications received were Scrutinized in the department and it has been found that application forms in respect of 34 candidates as per Annexure A to this Notice are without having the proof of minimum prescribed qualification as notified vide Advertisement Notice Dated. 01-09-2015; and
Now, therefore, the candidates as per Annexure A to this Notice are advised to furnish the proof of having the minEnurn prescribed qualification as per Advertisement Notice Dotal_ 01-09-2015 i.e Bachelors Degree from a recognized University with diploma in Local Self Government (LSGD) or MBA from any recognized University/Institution as on 22-09- 2018 within a week’s time from the date of publication of .u r at jk up date s.this notice to the Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department, Room No. 3/01 or 3/02 (Mini Block) Civil Secretariat, Jammu failing which their candidature for aforesaid posts shall deemed to have been cancelled
