GCET Jammu Admission Notification for Academic year 2021-22
Spot Round Admission For M.Tech (Computer Science& Engg., Mechanical Engg. and E&C Engg.)
The M.Tech (Computer Science & Engg., Mechanical Engg. and E&C Engg.) Aspirants are invited for SPOT Round of Admission at GCET Campus, Jammu for vacant/left-over seats, for the academic year 2021-22.
Eligible candidates fulfilling the eligibility criterion are required to report for the same along with all documents/Testimonials in original on 29th November, 2021 between 10.00 AM to 2.00 PM .
The provisionally selected candidates shall be required to complete the admission process by 30th November, 2021 (upto 4.00 PM) including submission of semester fee.
Eligibility Criteria :
The candidate applying for admission to M Tech programme must be either:
B.E /B.Tech (in relevant branch of Engineering and Technology) with minimum 50% of the marks or equivalent CGPA.
MCA/M.Sc(Computer Science/IT/Electronics/Mathematics/Statistics/Physics) with 50% of the marks or equivalent CGPA.
The candidate should be a Domicile of J&K UT.
All the above-mentioned degrees should be from Colleges/Universities recognized by UGC/AICTE.
Preference shall be given to candidates with valid GATE score.
Candidates belonging to General category are required to pay application fee of Rs.800/- and the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD/EWS category are required to pay a fee of Rs.500/-. The Fee should be in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Principal, Govt. College of Engineering & Technology, Jammu payable at Jammu.
