GMC Jammu Admission Notification in various Govt/Private Paramedical & Nursing Institutions

Admission Notification to Left over Seats in various Government / Private Paramedical and Nursing Institutions of U.T of Jammu and Kashmir.

NOTIFICATION

Pursuant to S.O 333 , Dated 13th of June’ 2024 followed by SOP’s issued by Administrative Department of Health and Medical Education Vide No:- 378 – JK(HME) of 2024, Dated 13.06.2024, It is impressed upon all Government / Private Paramedical and Nursing Institutions of U.T of J&K duly recognized and affiliated with Government Health and Medical Education Department and J&K Paramedical / Nursing Council / Concerned Universities, to invite applications from desirous candidates for admission in the following Nursing Courses for the left over seats only for the session 2024-25, only.

The terms and conditions shall be followed during the admission process is as under: –

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The institutions shall follow the eligibility criteria for admission to above mentioned courses strictly as per the eligibility criteria laid down by Indian Nursing Council, J&K Government Health and Medical Education Department, J&K Paramedical / Nursing Council, as notified by J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) on its website for session 2024-25 through various notifications for admission to the aforementioned courses.

2. After inviting the applications, for the above-mentioned Courses, The Institutions shall prepare a merit list and for doing so the following criteria shall be followed in letter and spirit.

● For General Nursing and Midwifery Admission, aggregate marks obtained in(10+2) to be considered.

● For Diploma in ANM, aggregate marks obtained In (10+2) to be considered.

3. The last date of admission is 31st,October 2024 and all the Institution(s) shall finalize / conclude the admission process well by or before the cut-off date.

4. Government and Private Paramedical & Nursing Institutions after completing the admission process shall submit the short-listed admitted candidates against the leftover seats to Jammu & Kashmir Paramedical / Nursing Council for verification of eligibility of the candidates. If upon verification, any candidate is found ineligible, his / her admission shall be cancelled ab-initio.

5. The dates for Registration / verification by J&K Paramedical Council shall be notified separately Institution wise.

6. Only domiciles of UT of Jammu and Kashmir be admitted against the left-over seats.
