Final Answer Key(s) of the written test(s) (OMR -MCQ Based) held on 30.10.2025 & selection/engagement of the candidate(s) as
Senior Resident(s) thereof.
Notification No. 44-EC of 2025. Dated: 06.11.2025
whereas, the Government Medical College, Srinagar conducted written test of the candidates for selection/engagement as Senior Residents on 30.10.2025 in response to the Advertisement Notice No: 12-RA of 2025; Dated: 13.09.2025 in the following disciplines:

Pathology
Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Ophthalmology
Surgical Gastroenterology
Whereas, vide this office Notification No: 43-EC of 2025; Dated: 30.10.2025, the Answer Keys framed by the paper-setters were notified for information of all concerned candidates with a provision that if any candidate feels that the key to any question(s) is/are wrong, he/she can submit objection/representation on the prescribed format within two days i.e., upto 01.11.2025 (01:00 PM) along with a sufficient documentary proof/evidence and fee of Rs. 300/- (Three Hundred); and
Whereas, in response to the said notification only one (01) representation against Two (02) questions was received within the stipulated time frame in the discipline of Obstetrics & Gynaecology for question numbers: 45 & 60.
Whereas, the representation so received was referred to the expert for the examination who held some claims justified/genuine & some unjustified as per the details below:
whereas, the recommendation of the expert has been accepted and necessary changes where-ever required have been made in the revised key; and
Now, therefore, with the adoption of the above changes/modifications in the discipline of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, the answer key(s) notified vide this office notification No: 43-EC of 2025; Dated: 30.10.2025 is/are hereby declared as final and no further claim whatsoever shall henceforth be entertained in this regard.
On the basis of evaluation carried out in accordance with the Revised/Final Key(s), the result of the written tests held on 30.10.2025 for selection/engagement of the candidates as Senior Residents is hereby notified as Annexure- “A” to this notification.
