GMC Srinagar Notice regarding Written examination
Notification regarding Written examination (OMR Based) for selection/engagement as Senior Resident.
Notification No.: 47-EC of 2025. Dated: 10-12-2025.
It is hereby notified for information of all those candidates who have applied for engagement as Senior Resident in the following Departments of Government Medical College, Srinagar in response to Advertisement Notice No.’s 13 of 2025, Dated: 11.10.2025, & 14 of 2025; Dated: 12.11.2025 that their OMR based examination will be held in the Anatomy Lecture Hall of Government
Medical College, Srinagar on 17.12.2025 (Wednesday) from 02:00 PM to 03:00 РМ.

In this context, the applicants are advised to strictly follow the instructions for participation in the examination:
01. The Admit cards/Roll number slips of the candidates shall be available w.e.f. 12.12.2025 in their respective Registered User Accounts through which they applied for the above posts.
02. On the actual date of the examination, the candidates shall report at the examination centre 30 minutes prior to the scheduled commencement of examination for verification of their identity along with their admit cards (coloured format only) and anyone of the following documents as proof of their identity: –
a. Photo Identity card issued by the competent authority.
b. Driving license.
c. Pan card/Adhaar card.
03. Candidates must not bring any prohibited items to the examination centre.
04. The candidates are advised to bring blue/black ball pen only in order mark an answer on OMR sheets.
05. Any type of electronic devices, mobile phones, bluetooth devices, scanning devices, earphones, tablets, books, note books, calculators, smart watches, laptop, I-pad etc. are not allowed inside the venue. Violation, if any, shall be dealt strictly under law.
06. Scratching, overwriting, tick-marks and multiple answers will be considered wrong.
07. Do not make any unnecessary/stray marks on the OMR sheet.
08. Use of whitener, eraser, nails, rubber, blade on the OMR sheet is completely prohibited.
09. Any attempt to seek or provide assistance during the examination will lead to immediate disqualification and expulsion from the examination centre.
10. The instructions on the question booklet and OMR sheet should be followed in letter & spirit.
