Govt.College of Engineering and Technology Admission Notification for M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering)     2020-21

The M.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) Aspirants are invited for SPOT Round of Admission at GCET Campus, Jammu for vacant/left- over seats, for the academic year 2020-21. Eligible candidates fulfilling the eligibility criterion are required to report for the same along with all documents/Testimonials in original on 29th December, 2020 between 10.00 AM to 3.00 PM.

The provisionally selected candidates shall be required to complete the admission process by 30th December, 2020 (upto 4.00 PM) including submission of semester fee.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The candidate applying for admission to M Tech programme must be either:

B.E /B.Tech (in relevant branch of Engineering and Technology with minimum 50% of the marks or equivalent CGPA.

MCA/M.Sc(Computer Science/IT/Electronics/ Mathematics/Statistics/ Physics) with 50% of the marks or equivalent CGPA.

The candidate should be a Domicile of J&K UT .

All the above-mentioned degrees should be from Colleges Universities recognized by UGC/AICTE.

Preference shall be given to candidates with valid GATE score. Candidates belonging to General category are required to pay application fee of Rs. 800/- and the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD/EWS category are required to pay a fee of Rs. 500/- The Fee should be in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Principal, Govt. College of Engineering & Technology, Jammu payable at Jammu.
