Govt ITI R.S. Pura Jammu Admission Notification for New Farm-Related Trades/ Courses

In pursuance to ADMISSION NOTICE issued by Director Skill Development vide no: SOD/401/2021/3338-47, Dated: 23.02.2021, applications are invited from the desirous candidates/applicants for seeking Admission in Government ITI R.S. Pura, Jammu (Farm ITI) for the Academic Session 2021-22-23 in the below mentioned long Term and Short term Farming related trades/courses having duration as shown against each, to be conducted under SCVT Scheme, commencing from March 2021. Application forms will be available in Govt. ITI R S Pura (Dhablihar Road R S Pura) w.e.f. 25th of February 2021.

Mechanic Agriculture Machinery (Two Yrs.)

Min Qualification / Min Age : 10th Pass / 14 Years

Floriculturist —Protected Cultivation (240 Hrs)

Min Qualification / Min Age : 8th Pass / 17 Years

Gardener (340 Hrs.)

Min Qualification / Min Age : 8th Pass / 17 Years

Minimum age will be determined as on 1″ of January 2021. There is no upper age bar. Selection will be carried out by way of Merit obtained by the applicant in the qualifying examination and as well as First-come-First-Serve basis. Admission forms will be available in Govt (Farm) ITI R S Pura @ Rs 40/- per form till 7^th of March 2021 and last submission of completion of admission proceedings is 10^th of March 2021.

The candidates will submit 3 sets of self attested copies of the following with Admission Forms and will be required to produce the originals of the same on the date of admission:

Marks Certificate of Qualifying Examination.

Date of Birth Certificate.

Category Certificate (SC/ST/Ex-serviceman/Physically Handicapped/EWS) if any.

Aadhar Card.

Domicile Certificate

Besides above, the candidate will submit 6 Passport Size Photographs and an Affidavit on Rs 10/- Stamp Paper declaring that he/she is not pursuing any other training/ education/ employment with any Govt / Private institute/ organization.

FARM-RELATED TRAININGS IS A ‘FIRST OF THE KIND’ INITIATIVE IN THE UT OF J&K WITH TREMENDOUS SCOPE IN ENTERPRENEURSHIP AND SELF EMPLOYMENT.

Here, practical and on-job training for each trade is stipulated to be conducted in Agriculture/ Horticulture and Floriculture Departments of Jammu Division, AND, on successful completion of training in trades run under SCVT Scheme, certificate will be awarded by State Council of Vocational Training.
