Govt. Polytechnic for Women Jammu Admission Notice

In Pursuance to the Directorate of Skill Development, J&K, Notification issued vide No. DSD/401/Trgs/3161-75 dated: 03-11-2025, applications are invited from desirous candidates for seeking admission to Traditional Phulkari Arts Course in Govt. Polytechnic for women Jammu for the Academic Session 2025-26 commencing from 10th of November, 2025. The lower age of the Candidates applying for admission is 14 years as on 30-09-2025, with no upper age bar. Those who have already undergone training in any trade may also apply, provided that a minimum gap of two years has elapsed since the completion of their previous course. The last date for applying is by of before 04:00 PM of 08th of November, 2025.

The detail of trade in which admission is to be made for the session 2025-26 is as under:

Certificate to be attached with Application Form (Photo Copies duly Attested):-

a) Marks Certificate of 10th Class and higher qualification, if any.

b) Date of Birth Certificate.

c) Category Certificate (SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Physically Handicapped/EWS) if any.

d) Aadhar Card.

e) Domicile Certificate

The candidates will be required to deposit the application form in this office along with self-attested photo copies of above mentioned required documents.

The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (One Hundred) against cash receipt from Govt. Polytechnic for women Jammu.

Important Note:

1. Selection will be made purely on the basis of academic merit obtained by the applicants in their qualifying examination.

2. On successful completion of training in trade, certificate will be awarded.
