GUIDELINES AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR GROUP DISCUSSION AND
PERSONAL INTERVIEW

All the shortlisted candidates must appear in both the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

Grades/Marks for the Group Discussion shall be based on the overall collective performance of the group as well as the individual performance of each member of the group. Accordingly there will be a group score and the individual score.

For Group Discussion the following points shall be kept in mind:

Allow everyone a chance to speak

The discussion shall preferably be in English.

Listen respectfully and actively.

Criticize ideas, not individuals

Commit to learning, not debating

Avoid blame, speculation, inflammatory language.

Avoid assumptions about others, especially based on their perceived social

Each group shall be given a topic for discussion with 8 minutes to discuss among themselves and to select a moderator and then 12-15 minutes for the Group

For GD, groups will be created at the venue for all the Kashmir valley based

The candidates from outside the Kashmir valley who wish to appear ONLINE, must register themselves for the online participation for both GD & PI and also send a mail by or before 26th October,2020 to the following email address: [email protected]

Each candidate shall face the panel interview, and marks will be assigned

For online counselling for GD&PI, the candidates shall remain available ONLINE from 2:30pm onwards on both the counselling days as per schedule. For online GD/PI a link will be shared with the candidates on the day of their counselling and they will be provided login Username and Password.

The candidates appearing ONLINE shall also send scanned copies of the all the required certificates.

NOTE: The mere appearance and performance in GD and PI does not mean the candidate has any claim for the admission.
