ADMISSION SELECTION NOTIFICATION NO. 01 Of 2025 -26 (Ph.D PROGRAMME)

Based on the recommendations of respective DRC’s and with the approval of the Competent Authority, the candidates with the Form Numbers listed below have been provisionally selected for admission to Ph.D. programme 2025-26 (Full Time / Part Time) advertised vide Admission Notification No: (Ph.D) 01 of 2025-26 Dated: 21-07-2025.

IMPORTANT NOTES :

1. The selection is based on the procedure notified in Admission Notification (Ph.D.) No. 01 of 2025-26 dated: 21-07-2025.

2. The selection of the candidates is strictly provisional and subject to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the university as well as production & verification of the original documents/ certificates wherever applicable. In case any discrepancy is found at any stage, the university reserves the right to cancel or modify the selection/admission.

3. Provisionally selected candidates must report to the Office of the Dean Research (New Administration Block, 1st Floor Room No: 206), IUST Campus Awantipora on any working day by or before 12-12-2025 (except on Saturday & Sunday), along with application form, original documents, photocopies thereof and requisite fee for completion of admission formalities.

4. Selected candidates are required to submit an Affidavit by a 1st Class Magistrate, stating that he/she is not working or studying in any institution/organization.

5. In case any candidate fails to report within the stipulated time, the seat shall be allotted to the next candidate in order of merit.

6. The candidate with Form No. 254386 in the Department of Arabic Language & Literature has been selected on Part-Time basis and is required to complete the registration formalities, including the submission of NOC from the employer, within two months from the date of issuance of this notice.
