IUST Written Tests Reschedule for Various Posts
Based on the representations received from various applicants for rescheduling of written tests notified vide No. IUST/Reg/Adm/E/25/287 Dated: 22-09-2025 in view of the conduct of written tests by other recruitment bodies (JKPSC/JKSSB) on the same dates, it is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the Written Tests of the eligible candidates (Lists available on the University website) for posts advertised vide advertisement notice No. 02 of 2024 dated: 12-02-2024 is rescheduled as under:
Note :
(i) There will be negative marking @ .25 mark for each wrong answer in both Papers (A & B).
(ii) The syllabi and other information stands notified vide Notice No. IUST/Reg/Adm/E/24/112 Dated: 04-04-2024.
INSTRUCTIONS :
1. Revised Admit Cards can be downloaded from the university website w.e.f. 25-10-2025.
2. Candidates are advised to report an hour before the scheduled time at University Campus, Awantipora.
3. Candidates are advised to bring Admit Card, Aadhar Card / Passport and recent Passport Size Photograph with them. No candidate shall be allowed to appear in the test without these documents.
4. Mere figuring in the list shall not entitle a candidate to appear in the written test and the same shall be subject to the submission and scrutiny of documents (Admit Card, etc.) of the candidates at the venue.
5. Candidates are required to appear in the written test on the schedule date, time and venue. No individual intimation shall be issued to candidates.
6. A candidate, who fails to appear in the written test on the scheduled date due to any reason, shall forfeit his right for consideration.
7. In case of any deficiency with reference to eligibility etc., proved at any stage of the recruitment process, the candidate shall not be considered for selection and will be treated as disqualified, ab-initio and the University shall reserve the right to initiate action as warranted under rules.
8. Any candidate found guilty of impersonating or submitting fabricated/tampered documents/testimonials or making false or incorrect statements or suppressing material information shall be liable for criminal prosecution under law, which shall include permanent debarment or debarment for a specific period, for consideration of any or all recruitments, made by the University. Also canvassing/lobbying in any form will entail disqualification of the candidate.
9. A candidate shall require to obtain minimum qualifying marks (50%) in each paper, failing which the candidate shall not be considered for further evaluations / selection processes. 10. In case of any disputes /suits or legal proceedings against the University, the jurisdiction shall be confined to the Srinagar Courts only.
11. No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in the Test.
