Jammu University Advertisement for the Position of Project Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for one position (01) of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in an ONGOING project sanctioned by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB). The position is initially for a period of one year extendable till the completion of the project depending on the performance.
Name of the project. “: Design, synthesis and biological applications of next generation cyanoimidazopyridine based fluorescent chemosensor”
Duration of the project.: 36 months (total) About 14 months (left)
Qualification. : Essential:-Masters in chemistry having at least 6.5 CGPA or 60 % marks.
Desirable:- Preference will be given to candidate having CSIR/UGC-NET or GATE or working experience relevant to
the project topic
Emoluments (i) For the first two years of the proiect Rs. 37,0001- per month Plus HRA @ 18% (per month) and for
the third year Rs. 42,000/-Plus HRA@18o/o(per month).
(ii) Rs. 25,0001- plus HRA@16% for others who do not under fall the above category.
INTERVIEW: Eligible candidates will be informed about the date and venue of interview telephonically/through email. All applicants are required to bring their original documents on the date of interview. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview. No separate interview letters will be issued. The rules and regulations laid by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) will be adhered to.
