J&K Gazetted Services Recruitment Rules, 2024 – Inviting objections

Draft Jammu and Kashmir Libraries (Gazetted) Services Recruitment Rules, 2024 – Inviting objections thereof.

Whereas, vide SRO 16 of 8th, January, I991, the Jammu and Kashmir Libraries (Gazetted) Services Recruitment Rules were notified by the Department of Culture; and

Whereas, various changes have taken place in these Recruitment Rules on account of creation/change in recruitment process/ apportionment of posts between the UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh; and

Whereas, in order to streamline the existing Jammu and Kashmir Libraries (Gazetted) Services Recruitment Rules, it was felt necessary to formulate afresh the Jammu and Kashmir Libraries (Gazetted) Services Recruitment Rules; and

Whereas, ARI and Training Department vide its Circular no-03- ARI & Trgs of 2023 dated. 22-092023, advised all the departments for circulation of Draft Recruitment Rules for inviting objections from the stakeholders.

Now, therefore, before placing the Draft Jammu and Kashmir Libraries (Gazetted) Services Recruitment Rules, 2024 to standing Committee constituted vide Government order no. 985- JK(GAD) of 2024 dated 29-4-2024 for consideration/approval, the draft notification of the Jammu and Kashmir Libraries (Gazetted) Services Recruitment Rules, 2024 along with proposed schedule I and II annexed as (A&B) are hereby notified for information and inviting objections, if any, from the stakeholders. The objection(s), if any, should reach to the Under Secretary (A) to the Government, Department of Culture Room no. 29, Ground Floor, Mini Block Civil Secretariat Jammu ([email protected]) within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of issuance of this notification. The objection(s) received after the set time period shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
