JK High Court Important Lists regarding District Judge posts
1. Whereas Pursuant to the Advertisement Notification No. 03 of 2024/RG/GS dated 05.06.2024 and later vide Notification No. 05 of
2024/RG/GS dated 08.08.2024, online applications were invited from all the eligible Advocates for filling up of 16 posts of District Judges (Entry Level) in the Pay Level J-5 (144840-194660), by direct recruitment.
2. While scrutinizing the documents so submitted by all the candidates, who applied for the said post of District Judge (Entry Level), it was found that the candidates whose names have been mentioned in Annexure-A to this Notification, who are already working as
Prosecuting Officers have also applied for the above post of District Judge.
3. Whereas, on the recommendation of the concerned Hon’ble Committee, having been approved by the competent authority, the
candidature of all those Prosecuting Officers, who had applied for the post of District Judge and whose names have been mentioned in
Annexure-A to this Notification, stands cancelled in terms of High Court Order No. 1176 of 2024 dated 31.07.2024.
4. Whereas, vide High Court Notification No. 3170 of 2024/RG/GS dated 24.12.2024, a list of Advocates/Candidates having deficiency of documents was notified and the concerned candidates were asked to remove the deficiency within stipulated time frame. Whereas, the following four candidates namely Sajid Ahmad Gojarchechi, Abdul Majid, Gowsia Farooq Khan and Bikramdeep Singh, have failed to remove the requisite deficiency within the prescribed time frame.
As such, as recommended by the concerned Hon’ble Committee duly approved by the Competent Authority, the candidature of the above mentioned four Advocates/Candidates for the post of District Judge (Entry Level), stands rejected.

1. Pursuant to the Advertisement Notification No. 03 of 2024/RG/GS dated 05.06.2024 and later vide Notification No. 05 of 2024/RG/GS dated 08.08.2024, online applications were invited from all the eligible Advocates for filling up of 16 posts of District Judges (Entry Level) in Pay Level J-5 (144840-194660), by direct recruitment.
2. While scrutinizing the documents so submitted by all the -Advocates who have applied for the said post of District Judge (Entry Level) while filling their application forms, some deficiencies have been found in the documents so submitted by the said Advocates, whose names have been mentioned in Annexure-A to this Notification.
3. As such, the Advocates, whose names have been mentioned in Annexure-A, to this notification, are hereby informed to remove the
deficiency by submitting the concerned document (s) as mentioned against their name, before the Recruitment Cell of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh, within 10 days positively, from the date of issuance/publication of this notification.
4. Non-compliance of the aforementioned condition No.3, within the stipulated period shall result in cancellation of the candidature of the concerned Advocates/Candidates for the above post of District Judge (Entry Level), without any further notice, in this regard
