JK Police Transfers and Postings
Transfers and postings of Police officers – reg.
Government Order No.: 200-Home of 2026 Dated: 02.04.2026
Recruitment in Army Public School, Udhampur
In the interest of administration, the following transfers and postings of Police officers are hereby ordered with immediate effect :
1. Mr. Tejinder Singh, IPS-2008 DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range is transferred and posted as IGP CID.
2. Ms. Sarah Rizvi, IPS-2008 DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range is transferred and posted as IGP Crime, J&K relieving Mr. Sujit Kumar, IPS of the additional charge of the post.
3. Mr. Shahid Mehraj Rather, IPS 2009 DIG Armed Kashmir is transferred and posted as Director, Police Telecommunication, J&K vice Mr. Jatinder Singh Johar, IPS.
4. Mr. Shridhar Patil Daulu, IPS-2010 DIG Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban Range is transferred and posted as DIG Jammu Samba Kathua vice
Mr. Shiv Kumar Sharma, IPS.
5. Mr. Haseeb-Ur-Rehman, IPS-2010 DIG Railways, J&K is transferred and posted as DIG Traffic Kashmir relieving Mr. Sheikh Junaid Mehmood, IPS of the additional charge of the post.
6. Mr. Nisha Nathyal, IPS-2010 DIG (Headquarters) PHQ is transferred and posted as DIG IR Jammu vice Dr. Vinod Kumar, IPS.
7. Dr. Vinod Kumar IPS-2011 DIG IR Jammu is transferred and posted as DIG North Kashmir Range vice Mr. Maqsood-ul-Zaman, IPS
