J&K Sports Council Important Notification

NOTIFICATION

i. Whereas, 204 applications of various courses-2025 viz; MBBS, BDS,DDM, DDH, BAMS, BUMS BHMS BPT, MD, MS PGD, MDS, MD-Ayush PG-Diploma Rehabilitation Psychology, PGDRP, B-Architecture, No: SKUAST-Jammu, No: B.Ed, B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc Paramedical/ B.Sc Technology, Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing, B/D Pharmacy, GNM/ANM, Professional/2025 on prescribed format were received by the J&K Sports Council in response to the Notifications dated: 15.05.2025, dated: 12.06.2025, dated: 15.05.2025, dated: 27.05.2025, dated: 20.05.2025, and dated: 14.05.2025 for grant of sports category weightage to claim benefit for admission in aforesaid courses 2025 under sports quota; and

ii. Whereas, the applications were scrutinized on 03.07.2025 by the committee constituted for the purpose under Govt. Order No: – 808-GAD of 2008, dated:- 17-06-2008 read with Govt. Order No:- 590-GAD of 2018 dated:- 11-04-2018 in terms of criteria in vogue; and terms and conditions laid down in the notifications issued for the purpose; and

iii. Whereas, below mentioned candidates of this notification have been found eligible by the committee and points awarded to their sports achievements as mentioned against each as well some candidates are also been found eligible subject to verification of their certificates from concerned sports federations/ associations/ YS&S and screening authenticated by the respective divisional sports officers of their concerned divisions; and
