J&K Sports Council Important Notification
Pursuant to Notification No. 043-BOPEE of 2026 dated: 17.03.2026 issued under endorsement No. BOPEE/Exam-15/2026 (7661343) dated: 17.03.2026 by the J&K BOPEE Jammu, offline application on the prescribed format are invited from eligible & desirous candidates under sports category for admission to 12th Based Paramedical Diploma Coursed (Such as X-Ray Tech, Dental Assistant, ECG Tech, Med/ pharma Assistant, Lab Assistant etc) including Medical Record Tech. (MRT) courses for the academic session-2026 in government/ private colleges/ institutions of UT of J&K & Ladakh respectively for the academic session, 2026.

The candidate who fulfills the following qualification/condition as prescribed in Government order No: 808-GAD of 2008 dated: 17.06.008. 946-GAD of 2008 dated: 15.07.2008, 1090-GAD of 2008 dated: 14.08.2008 & 733-GAD of 2010 dated: 24.06.2010 should only apply:-
1. A person who has represented India at the Olympic Games, Asian Games, SAARC Games, Common Wealth Games or other officially recognized test Matches/World Cup Competitions in any of the games/Sports mentioned below.
2. A person who has participated and secured one of the first three positions in the individual events or was a member of the team which obtained first, second or 3rd position or has participated twice or more in the same discipline in the National Championship in any of the sports or games as mentioned below.

The disciplines (Sports/Games) covered under the above rules are athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Swimming, Table Tennis, Volleyball Tennis Weight Lifting, Wrestling (International Style) Boxing Cycling Gymnastics, Judo Shooting Archery Equestrian, Handball Rowing Roller/Ice Skating, Skiing Squash, Billiard & Snooker, Chess Golf Kabaddi, Karate, Kayaking Canoeing, Polo, Power Lifting, Taekwondo, Yachting, Kho-Kho Body building Ball Badminton Bridge, Tennikoit, Carrom Softball, Wushu, Sport Climbing, Thang-Ta Baseball and all other games falling within the purview of Indian Olympic Association and or recognized by the Government of India.
The forms duly numbered are available on payment of Rs. 200/- in the office of Divisional Sports Officer (Kashmir) J&K Sports Council, Bakshi Stadium Srinagar & Divisional Sports Officer, (Jammu) J&K Sports Council New Indoor Sports Complex MA Stadium Jammu from 27.03.2026 to 06.04.2026 during office hours upto 4:00 PM.
The other terms and conditions as enclosed with the application form will also be applicable for determining the eligibility of the candidates for grant of Sports category.
The last date of receipt of applications is 07.04.2026 upto 4:00 PM during office hours in the office of the respective Divisional Sports Officers, J&K Sports Council at both the Divisions at Bakshi Stadium Srinagar & New Indoor Complex M.A. Stadium Jammu.
