JKBOPEE counselling Notification Regarding B.Ed. Course-2024

Conduct of 1st round of counselling (Physical) for admission to B.Ed. Course-2024 in the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE), Srinagar, B.Ed. Special Education in Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Srinagar and Government College of Education, Jammu.

In pursuance to Notification No. 018-BOPEE of 2024 dated 19-04-2024, the Board has notified the provisional merit list of eligible candidates who have appeared in Common Entrance Test for admission to B.Ed. Course-2024 in the Institute of Advance Studies in Education, Srinagar/Composite Regional Centre, Srinagar and Government College of Education, Jammu.

Now, it is hereby notified for information of all the concerned candidates figuring in Annexure-A to the Notification No. 018-BOPEE of 2024 dated 19-04-2024 from Rank 001 to Rank 431, that the Board shall conduct 1st round of Physical Counselling for admission to B.Ed. Course-2024 in the Institute of Advance Studies in Education, Srinagar/Composite Regional Centre, Srinagar and Government College of Education, Jammu simultaneously at BOPEE offices Jammu and Srinagar as per the following schedule:

Instructions:

1. The eligible / desirous candidates who are willing to take admission in the Institute of Advance Studies in Education, Srinagar/Composite Regional Centre, Srinagar and Government College of Education, Jammu shall have to report physically at the BOPEE offices Jammu/Srinagar for Registration/Attendance between 08:30 A.M to 10:00 A.M. on 09-08-2024 (Friday).

2. All the participating candidates shall have to deposit the Counselling fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) through the POS Machines available at the BOPEE office Jammu / Srinagar through Debit /Credit Cards. Any candidate who fails to deposit the counselling fee shall not be allowed to participate in the counselling process.

3. The seats shall be allotted to the candidates as per S.O. 176 dated 15-03-2024 read with S.O. 305 dated 31-05- 2024 issued by Social Welfare Department, UT of J&K.

4. If any candidate is not able to participate personally in the counselling on the day/date of counselling due to unavoidable circumstances, he/she can authorize his/her close family member who falls in his/her blood relation on the devised format of the Board to participate in the counselling on behalf of the concerned candidate. The said authorized person shall have to submit the authorization letter along with his identity Card and Aadhar Card during the process of counselling, otherwise he/she shall not be allowed to participate in the counselling on their own risk and responsibility.

5. Candidates are advised to bring along with them their Domicile certificate, valid Category Certificate, if any, and other relevant certificates/ documents including Marks Cards of all years/ Semesters of Qualifying Examination, as applicable for the said course to be presented at the time of counselling, otherwise they shall not be allowed to participate in the counselling process.

4. The seat matrix shall be uploaded on website of the Board separately in due course of time before counselling.

5. For latest updates related to the counselling, the candidates are advised to remain in touch with the Website of the Board (www.jkbopee.gov.in) regularly for updates.

6. The candidates provisionally selected for this course in any of above Colleges / Institute are advised to contact concerned College/Institute for admission fee and other requisite formalities before coming for counselling.

7. The counseling shall automatically be stopped as and when the seats get exhausted and no claim(s) from the waiting candidate(s), if any, shall be entertained by the Board.

The other terms and conditions shall remain the same as notified in the e-Information Brochure/ Notifications/Notices issued by the Board in this regard from time to time.
