Provisional Merit List/Result for admission to the B.E./ B.Tech. Courses-2024 of the Common Entrance Test conducted by the J&K BOPEE at Srinagar/Jammu on 9thJune, 2024.

The Provisional Merit List /Result of all the candidates, who had appeared in the Common Entrance Test conducted by the J&K BOPEE in pursuance to the Notification No. 020-BOPEE of 2024 dated 03-05-2024 read with Notice No. 007-BOPEE of 2024 dated 16- 05-2024, Notice No. 010-BOPEE of 2024 dated 24-05-2024 & Notification No. 029-BOPEE of 2024 dated 03-06-2024 for admission to the B.E./B.Tech. Courses-2024 at Govt./Pvt. Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K/Ladakh is hereby notified as per the Annexure-A to this Notification. The Entrance test was conducted at both centres Jammu & Srinagar on 09-06-2024.

The Board has not received any representation(s) against the Answer Key of Common Entrance Test within the stipulated time which was uploaded on website of the Board on 09-06-2024 & hence result was prepared accordingly.

In case two or more candidates have obtained the same marks in the Entrance Test, the Inter-se-Merit/Tie of such candidates has to be resolved as per provisions defined at Page No. 37 Point No.12 of e-Information Brochure which is also available on the official website of Board (www.jkbopee.gov.in).

As per provisions defined at Point No.03, Page No. 10-11 of e-Information Brochure, the candidate(s), who have any objection against his/her result, if any, shall have to submit a written representation(s) along with a payment receipt of Rs.1000/- to be paid through POS Machine at the BOPEE offices Srinagar/Jammu for the purpose of re-totaling of marks. The representation(s) in this regard shall be received upto three days of uploading of this Notification on the BOPEE website by the Board after the declaration of result. No representation shall be entertained after the expiry of the prescribed time limit.

The candidate(s) figuring in the Annexure-A to this Notification whose Marks Card/Result was awaited or who had uploaded expired/invalid Reserved Category Certificate(s) and pending Domicile Certificate(s) at the time of submission of their Online Application Forms, were provisionally allowed to appear in the Entrance Test subject to the condition that they shall have to submit the same during or before the counseling date as and when notified by the Board or have to submit the same in the respective College(s) at the time of admission, in case he/she is selected for admission on provisional basis or as may be decided and notified by the Board in due course of time.

The candidate(s), who have filled application form under CDP (Child of Defense persons) category, if any, are advised to submit the priority certificate physically at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar within five days of issuance of this Notification.

Further, the candidate(s), who need correction in their particulars i.e. Name, Parentage, D.O.B, Category Certificate, and Gender, if any, are also advised to represent physically at the BOPEE Office Jammu/Srinagar for rectification of their errors within five days of issuance of this Notification.

No fresh representation regarding inclusion of category, if earlier not mentioned during filling up of online application forms, shall be entertained by the Board.

Note:

i) After the issuance of new S.O 176 dated 15-03-2024, issued by Social Welfare Department, J&K Government regarding new reservation policy, the Board shall now allot seats accordingly strictly as per new S.O. 176. Hence the candidates who want to change their category as amended in new S.O. 176 are advised to submit their new category certificate physically at BOPEE office Jammu/ Srinagar (wherever applicable) within five days of issuance of this Notification failing which they shall not be entitled for claiming any seat under old categories, which are now not available in new S.O. 176 and no further claim(s) shall be entertained by the Board from any candidate thereof.

ii) The offline counseling shall tentatively start from 30th June 2024, regarding the detailed Counselling schedule, the candidates are advised to visit the official website of Board (www.jkbopee.gov.in) daily.

The Annexure-A shall only remain available on the official website of the Board www.jkbopee.gov.in.
