Provisional Selection List of candidates for admission to M.Sc. Nursing Courses – 2023 in Government / Private Colleges / Institutions of UT of J&K.
Reference :
i) Notification No. 062-BOPEE of 2023 Dated 14-08-2023.
ii) Notification No. 069-BOPEE of 2023 Dated 25-08-2023.
In pursuance of Notification No.069-BOPEE of 2023 dated 15.08.2023 the Board conducted First Round of counseling (physical) for admission to M.Sc. Nursing Courses – 2023 in Govt. /Private Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K on 31.08.2023. The list of candidates who have been allotted seats provisionally on the basis of Merit cum Preferences is hereby notified as per Annexure “A” to this notification, which shall remain available on website of the Board: www.jkbopee.gov.in only. The candidates shall report for
admission to the colleges allotted to them w.e.f. 04.09.2023 to 11.09.2023 -along with following documents in original: –
1. Marks Card of B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc./B.Sc. Hons. Nursing course with 55% marks.
2. Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K and for the candidates of UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by the competent authority of Ladakh shall be treated as domicile certificate.
3. One Year work experience after B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing;
4. Certificate as a registered Nurse or Registered Midwifery or equivalent with any State/UT Nursing Council.
5. Category certificate, wherever applicable.
6. Any other certificate as may be required by the College Authorities
The candidates provisionally selected shall mandatorily have to report for admission to the allotted College/ Institution by or before 11.09.2023 upto 4:00 pm along with their relevant certificates in original, failing which they shall not be eligible for further rounds of counseling, if any, conducted by the Board.
The Colleges shall submit the shortfall, if any, on 11.09.2023 upto 5:00 pm positively to enable the Board to take further necessary action in the matter.
Note :
1. The admission of the candidates is purely provisional and shall be liable to be cancelled in case any information furnished by any candidate proves to be false/ fabricated, and action as warranted under law shall be initiated against such candidates
2. The candidate(s) if any found to have concealed any information, his/her selection/admission shall be cancelled abinitio and fine/penalty shall be imposed upon him/her as may be deemed proper by the board in accordance with the laid down rules.
3. All the Heads of the Institutions/Colleges are requested to keep their admission counters open on holidays/off days to facilitate the candidates to complete their admission process well in time. However, the candidates should, in their own interest, avoid waiting for the last day to complete the admission formalities as such delay has the potential of causing hardships to the candidates only.
4. It is hereby implored upon the management of all Colleges/ Institutions to ensure the veracity of documents, particularly the Category Certificates wherever the admission is to be granted in lieu of a particular Reserved Category. So, far as the Persons with Disability are concerned, if selected in Open merit or against a Reserved category it shall be ensured that his/her PwD
Certificate/eligibility is in conformity with Indian Nursing Council (INC) Guidelines / Regulations framed by the concerned Regulatory Authority and wherever required shall refer the matter to concerned Medical Board to assess such candidates and make recommendations based on which Institution shall take further necessary action. In case any candidate does not fulfill the benchmarks of eligibility as per INC Guidelines, his/her admission shall be cancelled on his/her risk and responsibility under intimation to the Board.
5. The Heads of the Institutions shall keep record of admission and send the shortfall of the candidates, if any, who have not completed their admission within the prescribed time mentioned above through e-mail viz. [email protected] & [email protected] on 11.09.2023 at 5:00 pm positively along with hard copy duly signed by the Head of the Institution.
The other terms and conditions shall remain the same as notified by the Board in the e-Information Brochure and Notifications / Notices issued from time to time in this regard.
