JKBOPEE Conduct of Mop up Round (Physical) for up-gradation /allotment NEET UG- 2020
Consequent upon the completion of third round of physical counselling of NEET UG-2020 on 30-12-2020 the Mop up round of physical counselling for allotment / up- gradation of candidates to MBBS/BDS courses, shall now be held on 11-01-2021 in the Board office, Jammu/ Srinagar against the shortfall of following tentative seats.
ASCOMS-Jammu= 01 seat of MBBS (HM)
GDC-Srinagar= DDH = 03 (OM)
10 seats of Diploma in Dental Mechanic
GDC-Jammu= BDS = 01 seat (STGB Male)
IDS-Jammu = 76 seats
NOTE:
The candidates who have not got themselves registered earlier due to one or the other reason are eligible as
per eligibility criteria of NEET UG (OM = 147 Score and Reserved categories =113 score) for their participation on Mop Up, but they shall have to bring their original documents along with Xerox copy of the same duly self-attested for the purpose of verification of eligibility. He/She shall have to deposit the counselling fee of Rs. 1500/- through POS Machine by use of Debit Card / Credit Card on the day of counselling(09.01.2021) for allotment of seat, if any, available at his/her term on the basis of merit cum preferences, However, they shall be considered for counselling on the basis of NEET Rank.
In pursuance of Dental Council of India letter No.DE-Academic/6(115)2020/192, dated 26-105-2020 Govt. Dental College, Srinagar vide letter No. GDC/Acad/1962-63/2020 dated 26-12-2020 read with GDC/Acad/89 dated 07-01-2021 has been granted permission to run Diploma in Dental Mechanic (DDM) course during the academic session 2020. Accordingly the college has referred the said seats to the Board for selection/ admission which shall be filled up during counselling.
The candidates are advised to come for counselling only in case seats of their choice are vacant on the day of counselling. The counselling shall be concluded/closed immediately when the seats are exhausted.
The candidate who did not get a seat during first round/second/third rounds of online/offline counselling, shall be eligible to participate in the mop up round.
The candidates desirous of participating in the counselling process shall report in the BOPEE Office Srinagar/ Jammu for attendance/registration between 9.00 AM to 10.30 AM for being eligible to participate in the mop up round of counselling at their own turn/ rank.
The candidates figuring in the PML and are desirous to participate in the counselling for the first time shall have to deposit a fee of Rs.1500/- through POS machines available in the BOPEE Offices before they are allowed to participate in the counselling.
The candidates shall have to submit fresh preferences on the date of their counselling.
The candidates are advised to go through the Information Brochure and other relevant/related notifications/ notices issued by the Board from time to time and those which are available on the website, jakbopee. gov.in. The other conditions mentioned there, but not mentioned above, shall apply.
As already notified the candidates who have been allotted seats during first round and second of online/ offline counselling, but failed to join shall be eligible to participate in mop up round of counselling.
The candidates who have been allotted seats during third round of offline counselling but failed to join against said seats shall not be eligible to participate in third round of counselling.
The updated seat matrix shall be uploaded a day before the date of counselling.
