JKBOSE Class 10th Direct Admission
The Jammu & Kashmir State Open School, a subsidiary of J & K State Board of school education announces the admission for the session 2016-17.
The last date of submission of forms : 15 April 2017
The admission for direct class 10th is open to all especially for those who have missed formal education, School dropouts, Unemployed, Differently-abled children, persons in employment to enhance their chances of promotion and failures from the formal system. 38 (Thirty Eight) Govt. High/ Hr. Sec. Schools have been accredited and are acting as study centres established at each district.

The Eligibility for the Direct 10 Class admission is that
- Students should have passed class VIII Examination.
- Age 14 and above as on 01.01.2017. However there will be no upper age limit.
The medium of Instruction will be English, Urdu and Hindi. The study material in the forms of textbooks shall be made available through respective study centres to the students after receiving the admission forms and the 30 contact classes shall be held on respective study centres.
The candidates desirous of completing their secondary school Examination (10th Class) through JKSOS can download prospectus cum Admission forms from the JKBOSE website: www.jkbose.co.in and submit their forms at Accredited centres along with payment of Rs 2530/-in the form of bank draft drawn in favour of Chairman, JKSOS, payable at Jammu/ Srinagar. The said fees include Registration Fee, Examination Fee and Study material charges.
