Updation/correction of Registration Return (RR) particulars of candidates of Class 9th for the Academic Session 2025-26 (winter zone areas of Jammu Division).

It Is hereby notified for the information of all the affiliated Government as well as Private High and Higher Secondary Institutions/Schools falling under the jurisdiction of Winter zone areas of Jammu Division that they are hereby afforded an opportunity to apply for updation / correction of discrepancies, variations, or errors, if any, in the registered particulars of candidates as recorded In the Registration Return (RR) submitted through online mode in respect of students of Class 9th for the Academic Session 2025-26, who are likely to appear in the Annual Regular Examination, 2026 of Class 10th.

Accordingly, the concerned Institutions/Schools shall submit applications for updation/correction strictly within the prescribed period from 10-03-2026 to 24-03-2026. Each case shall be submitted individually and case-wise to the concerned Board Office(s) through offline mode, accompanied by the requisite supporting documentary evidence, namely: Admission-cum-With drawl Register (Primary, Middle and High), Registration Return (RR) List clearly indicating the RR Numbers.

The documents must be submitted in original along with duly attested Xerox copies, duly authenticated by the Head of the Institution, along with the prescribed fee/fine of Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) per candidate, strictly in accordance with Annexure-‘A’ appended to this notification.

Further, the Assistant Secretaries/In-charge Officers of Sub/Branch Offices of JKBoSE, Winter Zone areas of Jammu Division shall scrutinize, verify, and consolidate all such cases in accordance with the relevant records. After due verification and authentication, all eligible and complete cases shall be forwarded to the Registration Section, Jammu Division in soft copy and hard copy strictly as per the prescribed format provided in Annexure-‘B’, on or before 25-03-2026.

No application received after the stipulated date(s) or found incomplete in any respect shall be entertained under any circumstances.

Note:

a) The Heads of Institutions/Schools shall ensure that a printout of the Registration Return (RR) list is obtained and thoroughly checked for any discrepancies. The same shall be retained In institutional records for future reference.

b) In case the last date falls on a holiday, the next working day shall be treated as the last date for submission.
