JKBOSE Important Notification regarding 11th, 12th Classes
After scrutinizing the examination enrollment data
pertaining to Class 11th and 12th of Annual
Regular, 2024 examinations, it has been observed
that some of the institutions have filled the examination
forms of in-eligible candidates without ascertaining
their eligibility.

Whereas, as per the Govt.Order issued by the
School Education department bearing No.119-Edu
of 2017 dated 15.03.2017, it has categorically been
mentioned that students shall be provisionally
admitted in next class after conclusion of Annual
Regular Board examinations. Those students, who
are declared unsuccessful in the results, shall be
permitted to continue their studies till the results of
the subsequent Bi-annual examination are
declared.
In respect of the candidates who fail to
pass in Bi-annual examination, provisional admission
shall be cancelled. So there is no question of
provisionally admitting the previous Session failure
candidates in the current Session.

Whereas, after declaration of Bi-Annual, 2023 examination
results of Class 10th and 11th, a Notification
was issued by the Director Academics bearing No.
F(Acad-C)Ext/X/XI/XII/Exam/RR/2024 dated
23.1.2024 wherein in the Point no. 02, clear instructions
were passed to the Head of the Institutions that
they shall ensure that only those Re-appear/Failure
students of Annual Regular, 2023 examination who
were provisionally admitted as per the norms and
have now qualified all the five compulsory subjects
shall submit their online examination forms. Any deviation
from the guidelines shall warrant strict disciplinary
action from competent authority.
Whereas, notwithstanding the above directions,
some of the institutions have managed to submit
the examination forms of the ineligible candidates
as well, along with the other eligible candidates.
The list of all such in-eligible candidates as
Annexure-A (in case of Class 11th) and Annexure-B
(in case of Class 12th) is available on official website
of JKBOSE.
Now, sequel to the approval of the competent authorities,
the candidature of all these ineligible candidates
of Class 11th and 12th Session Annual
Regular, 2024, is hereby cancelled with immediate
effect with strict directions to all the concerned heads
of the institutions to remain careful and take proper
care while approving / authenticating the examination
forms in future and ensure that no such in-eligible
candidate shall be allowed to appear in the ensuing
theory examinations. These candidates can
appear in Bi-Annual, 2024 examination in Private
capacity or in Annual 2025 examination in Regular
capacity as per the norms in vogue.
