JKBOSE Issues Notice on Barring Students from Opting Vocational Subjects in Unauthorised Institutions
Barring of students from opting vocational subjects in unauthorized institutions.
In continuation of instructions already issued from time to time regarding admission and conduct of examinations in vocational courses, it is notified for the information of all the students not to opt vocational subjects in unauthorized educational institutions.
The private educational institutions cannot offer vocational subjects under the present scheme of studies without authorization from the Government/ SAMAGRA Project Directorate.
The Government schools shall not admit students for vocational subjects, if they are not duly authorized to enroll students in particular vocational trades by SAMAGRA Shiksha. The HOI of the unauthorized school(s) shall be liable to both penalty and disciplinary action if they enroll students for vocational subject/ trade.
The candidature of the students found contravening the instructions shall be treated as invalid ab-initio and their examination in vocational subject cancelled by default.
The students having vocational subjects shall mandatorily choose authorized institutions while availing migration/eligibility facility during switch over.
All Heads of the Institutions, students and other stakeholders are advised to take note of and strictly adhere to the instructions.
