JKPSC Assistant Professor Selection List – Disposal of Representation

Provisional Select List for the post of Assistant Professor, Microbiology, in Government Medical Colleges Anantnag, Baramulla, Doda, Kathua, Rajouri and Udhampur, in Health & Medical Education Department — Disposal of Representation.

Whereas, the Health & Medical Education Department, vide letter MEGAZ187/2014 dated 18.08.2023 read with ME-GZtd/317/2021 (e-office), dated 14.03.2022, MEGztd/56/202 (e-office), dated 06.04.2022 and ME-Gztd/21/2022 (e-office), dated 07.07.2022, referred four (04) posts, of Assistant Professor, Microbiology, one each in GMC: Baramulla, Doda, Kathua and Rajouri under OM Merit Category, to the J&K Public Service Commission for selection. The posts were advertised vide Notification No. 28-PSC (DR-P) of 203 dated 08.06.2023; and,

Whereas, again the Department vide letters Nos. ME-Gztd/246/2022-02 (CC:7037074) dated 26.07.2023, and Me-Gztd/246/2022 e-office dated 05.12.2022 referred (05) posts one each in GMC Anantnag, Baramula, Doda, Rajouri and Udhampur under RBA Category. The posts were advertised vide Notification No. 35-PSC (DR-P) of 2023 dated 03.08.2023

Whereas, the written test was conducted on 03.11.2023 and the result thereof was declared vide Notification No. PSC/Exam/S/2024/20 dated 29.04.2024. The viva-voce of the candidates was conducted on 23.07.2024, with the assistance of Experts; and,

Whereas, the Commission, vide Notification No. 20-PSC (DR-S) of 2024 dated 24.07.2024, notified the Provisional Select List, with a stipulation that, Select List is provisional, subject to objections, if any, which were to be received within 05 days; and,

Whereas, in response to the said Notification, one representation has been received from Dr. Suboor Ahmad Naik (Roll No. 7000003); and,

Whereas, the Objection raised in the representation was examined in the Commission and the consideration and disposal is detailed here under:-

Now therefore, the representation is hereby rejected, being devoid of any merit.
