Result of J&K Combined Competitive Examination 2023- Deployment of Candidates for Medical Examination thereof.
Whereas, the General Administration Department, vide Communication No. GAD_SERVOKAS/339/2022 dated 12.04.2023, referred 75 posts of J&K Combined Competitive Examination-2023 to the J&K Public Service Commission for being filled up through the
Combined Competitive Examination; and,
Whereas, these posts were advertised vide Notification No. 12- Psc(DR-P) of 2023 dated: 13.04.2023; and,
Whereas, 30756 candidates were provisionally allowed to appear for the Preliminary Examination; and,
Whereas, the Preliminary Examination was conducted on 15.10.2023, in which 18882 candidates appeared; and,
Whereas, as per the criteria fixed by the Commission, vide Notification No. PSC/Exam/2022/22 dated: 17.08.2022, a total of 2144 candidates were declared to have qualified for the Mains Examination including 77 candidates who were allowed to appear on
the directions of Honβble Central Administrative Tribunal; and,
Whereas, J&K Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination, 2023 was conducted from 26.03.2024 to 03.04.2024 both at Jammu and Srinagar in which 1296 candidates appeared in all papers; and,
Whereas, as per the criteria fixed by the Commission in accordance with SRO-103 of 2018 dated 23.02.2018, as amended from time to time, 274 candidates were declared to have qualified for the Interview/Viva-Voice/Personality Test vide Notification No.
PSC/Exam(s)/2024/35 dated 09.07.2024; and,
Whereas, in addition 11 candidates (petitioners) were also called for interview in pursuance to the Court Orders: and,
Whereas, the Personality test (interview) of the candidates was conducted w.e.f 21.10.2024 to 29.10.2024 at the Srinagar Office of the J&K PSC; and,
Whereas, out of 274 candidates, 08 candidates did not appear in the interview; and,
Whereas, the Commission in its Meeting held on 29.10.2024 decided to declare the result of the candidates who appeared in the interview and also notify their aggregate marks and recommend 71 candidates (Annexure-ID for Medical Examination in accordance with the relevant rules.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provisions contained in SRO-103 of 2018 dated 23.02.2018, read with J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules 2022 as well as the above-mentioned decision taken by the Commission, the Commission hereby
a Notifies the result of 266 candidates only who appeared in the interview for the post of Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination 2023, as per Annexure-I to this Notification.
ii) Withhold the result of 1 1 candidates (petitioners ) who were called for interview in pursuance to the Court Orders.
iii) Recommend & direct 71 candidates as per Annexure-II of this notification, by order of their aggregate merit, read with J&K Reservation Rules (SRO 294) as amended up-to-date, to report for Medical Examination before the respective Medical Boards constituted/or to be constituted in GMC- Srinagar/Jammu, whichever Board the candidate may choose, for conduct of his/her Medical Examination as per proforma, in accordance with the rules on the subject.
The candidates recommended for medical examination will have to pay a fee, as prescribed, before Medical check-up
Note :
1. Mere calling a candidate for Medical Examination shall not confer any right on him/her to be recommended for selection.
2. Marks cards shall be available on the website of the Commission after completion of the selection process and after forwarding the select list to the Government for making appointments.
3. The lists notified as Annexure-l & II to this notification are provisional and subject to the outcome of the writ petition(s), if any, pending before any Competent Court of jurisdiction.
