JKSSB 855 Posts Waiting List Released
Final Selection List for the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil), Public
Works (R&B) Department, UT Cadre, advertised vide Notification
No.06 of 2022 dated.11.11.2020, under Item No. 201 – Release of
Waiting List thereof.
Whereas, the J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB) received an Indent from
Public Works (R&B) Department for the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) for making direct
recruitment to these posts, as per following category-wise break up:
Whereas the Board advertised these 855 posts vide Notification No. 06 of
2022, for seeking applications from the eligible candidates, with the prescribed qualification
as under:
03 years diploma in Civil Engineering from Government recognized
institute/Indian University, Degree in Civil Engineering, AMIE
Section (A&B) INDIA,”
Whereas, the JKSSB conducted OMR based written Examination for these
posts on 19.11.2023 and based on the performance of the candidates, the Result/ Score
sheet of the candidates was notified Vide No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/89/2023-03 (7314803)
dated 07.12.2023; and
Whereas, the designated Selection Committee framed the Final Selection List
for these posts of Junior Engineer (Civil), which was subsequently approved in the 261%
Board Meeting and, notified vide No. JKSSB-Scry/2/2024-03 (E-7390977) dated 21.02.2024.
The waiting list for these posts was not drawn as such provisions were omitted; and
Whereas, vide S.o 134 dated 28″ February, 2024, the provisions for
preparation of the waiting lists were revived and under the provisions of S.O. 137 dated 28th
February, 2024, the recruiting agencies, as a one-time exemption, have been permitted to draw up the wait list (s) in respect of those select list(s), which have been issued after
07.09.2023, within a period of six months; and
Whereas, the Selection Committee, so constituted having regard to the merit
of candidates prepared Waiting List in respect of Junior Engineer (Civil), which was
approved in the 2721d Board Meeting.
Now therefore, after taking into consideration all the aforementioned factors,
the Waiting List for the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil), Public Works (R&B) Department,
advertised Vide Notification No. 06 of 2022 dated: 11.11.2022, is hereby notified in respect
of eligible candidates as per Annexure-A to this Notification: It is further ordered that:
i. The Waiting List shall be subject to outcome of writ petition(s)/OA(s), if any,
pending in the court of law.
i. The Waiting list shall also be subject to the outcome of any pending enquiry,
involving candidate(s), figuring in the Selection/Waiting List.
iii. Formal recommendations to the concerned indenting department shall be made
separately.
iv. The candidate(s) whose recommendation is kept withheld shall submit the requisite
documents/certificates within a period of one month.
V. The Selection of the candidates has been made on the basis of
self-declaration/Certificates submitted by them and if at any stage, it comes to the
light that any candidate(s) has submitted false information or has secured selection
in the list on the basis of false documents/certificates, the selection shall be liable to
cancellation at any stage.
