JKSSB Constable Posts Medical Examination Notice

Conduct of medical examination of provisionally selected candidates for the post of constable armed/IRB/SDRF/executive/telecommunication, Home department.
All the candidates who were directed to report before the Medical Board for medical examination as per the schedule issued vide Office Notification No. JKSSB–Scry-35/2025–03 (E7802335) dated 03.02.2026, but could not appear before the Medical Board due to various reasons, are hereby granted a last and final opportunity to appear before the Medical Board on 16.02.2026 at 10:30 AM at the Medical Institute(s) already notified vide the aforesaid notification.
Failure to appear on the said date and time shall result in rejection of candidature, and no further claim in this regard shall be entertained thereafter.

Whereas, Jammu Kashmir Services Selection Board has notified Provisional
Selection list for various posts of “Constable” of Home department vide Notification No
JKSSB–Scry/35/2025–03 (E-7802335) dated 05.12.2025 and Notification No JKSSB–
Scry/38/2025–03 (E-7823188) dated 02.01.2026 for a total of 3980 posts of constable in
Jammu and Kashmir Police, Home department advertised vide Notification No 01 of 2024
dated 16.07.2024, under Item Nos., 01,02, 03, 05 and 06 respectively,
Whereas, the next mandatory stage of recruitment/selection process is medical
examination of the provisionally selected candidates which is to be conducted strictly in
accordance with the prescribed norms of the indenting department.
Whereas, it has been observed that 325 candidates are common across the of
aforesaid categories/posts. Therefore, the medical examination of such common
candidates will be conducted only once and the same Medical result will be treated as
valid for all the common relevant categories so as to avoid duplication of medical test
and inconvenience to the candidates

Accordingly, the candidates as figuring in Annexure A and B to this notification:
i. shall report to the Medical Board at respective Hospital/GMC as per the
details indicated against each for their medical examination
w.e.f. 06.02.2026.
ii. The Ex-Servicemen candidate shall also produce their discharge book
before the respective medical board.
iii. It may be noted that mere calling for medical examination of the
“provisionally” selected candidates, shall not confer any right of final
selection to the candidates.
