Syllabus Overview
The written test carries 120 marks and must be completed within 02:00 hours. The syllabus is divided into multiple sections with clear topic areas.
1. General Knowledge (30 Marks)
This section focuses on national & international current affairs, Indian culture & heritage, and specifics about Jammu & Kashmir UT including:

Political & physical divisions of world & India

Transport & communication systems

Demography, important rivers & lakes

J&K UT history, economy, geography, and tourist destinations

J&K Reorganisation Act, 2019

2. Accountancy & Book Keeping (30 Marks)
Key topics under accountancy include:

Financial accounting basics

Journal entries & ledger accounts

Bank reconciliation statements

Trial balance, profit & loss account, balance sheet

OS fundamentals, hardware & software elements

Concepts of viruses & cybersecurity
