Juvenile Justice Rules, J&K Interaction Notice

Interaction Notice for the candidates who have applied for the position of Chairperson/Member, Child welfare committees and Member Juvenile Justice Boards for Kashmir province.

Whereas, applications on prescribed format were invited from the eligible and interested Social Workers for appointment as Chairperson/Member, Child Welfare Committee and Member, Juvenile Justice Boards in each district of UT of J&K vide advertisement Notice No. 01 SC(MV) of 2022 dated 01-08-
2022 & Notice No. 02 SC(MV) of 2022 dated 01-08-2022

Whereas, applications were received and subsequently scrutinized in pursuance of Section 4 & 27 of Juvenile Justice (Care & protection) Act 2015
read with J&K Juvenile Justice (Care & protection) Rules 2021 and accordingly list of all the eligible and In-eligible applicants/candidates were published in two local newspapers of J&K besides uploading on official website of Social Welfare department, J&K for inviting objections, if any

Whereas, several representations has been received and has been examined and considered by the department whichever found genuine;

Whereas, in the meanwhile the Hon’ble High Court at Srinagar in the case titled Court on its own Motion V/s State of J&K & Ors. PIL No 09/2013 &
09/2015, vide order dated 30-11-2022 directed that the applicants shall be allowed to submit their applications within three days from today before Member
Secretary Selection Committee, Mission Director Vatsalya, J&K and on receipt of the applications, the applicants shall be allowed to compete the process of
selection, if otherwise eligible

Whereas, accordingly the application forms has been received from the eligible applicants for three days in pursuance of the Hon’ble High court
order dated 30-11-2022;

Now, the interaction/interview dates for Kashmir province has been fixed by the Committee and has been annexed with this notice for the information of all the eligible candidates. The interaction/interview dates for Jammu province will be issued separately.

The candidates are advised to report for personal interaction/interview in the office of Selection Committee at Rehmat Avenue, Baghat-Sanat Nagar,
Srinagar, as per date and time shown against each:
