NEET UG 2026 Applications Open from February 8, Exam Scheduled for May 3
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened the online application process for NEET (UG) 2026 for admission to undergraduate medical and allied courses across the country. According to the public notice issued on 8 February 2026, eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official NEET website.
NEET (UG) 2026 will function as the single national-level entrance examination for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS, and other recognised medical programmes, in accordance with guidelines laid down by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and other regulatory authorities.

Start of Online Applications: 08 February 2026
Last Date to Apply: 08 March 2026 (up to 09:00 PM)
Last Date for Fee Payment: 08 March 2026 (up to 11:50 PM)
Correction Window: 10 March to 12 March 2026
NEET (UG) 2026 Exam Date: 03 May 2026 (Sunday)
Exam Timing: 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM (IST)
Exam Duration: 180 Minutes (3 Hours)

Courses Covered Under NEET (UG) 2026
NEET (UG) 2026 scores will be considered for admission to the following courses:
MBBS and BDS in all medical institutions across India
BAMS, BUMS, BSMS (Indian Systems of Medicine)
BHMS (Homeopathy)
B.Sc. Nursing for Military Nursing Service (MNS) in AFMS institutions
Admissions will be carried out as per the rules and regulations of the respective governing bodies.
Medium and Languages of Examination :
The NEET (UG) 2026 examination will be conducted in 13 languages:
Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Application Fee (Category-wise)
For Examination Centres in India:
General: ₹1700
General-EWS / OBC-NCL: ₹1600
SC / ST / PwBD / Third Gender: ₹1000
For Centres Outside India:
All Categories: ₹9500
Eligibility Criteria for NEET (UG) 2026 :
Candidates applying for NEET (UG) 2026 must:
Have passed or be appearing in Class 12 (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English
Fulfil the age criteria as prescribed by NMC and NTA
Satisfy category-wise eligibility and reservation norms
OBC-NCL candidates must belong to the Central OBC List

Complete new registration and create login credentials
Enter personal, academic, and contact details carefully
Upload required documents:

Pay the application fee online using UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking
Submit the application form and download the confirmation page
