Notice regarding conduct of Walk Test for various posts of Forest department (including Forest Guards etc) : JKSSB

This is for the information all candidates who have applied for the posts of ‘Social Forestry Worker’ pursuant to Advertisement Notice Nos.03 of 2012 and 01 of 2013; ‘Forest Guard’ pursuant to Advertisement Notice Nos 01 of 2013, 04 of 2013 and 06 of 2015
Wildlife Foresters pursuant to Advertisement Notice Nos 03 of 2012 and 06 of 2013; ‘Wildlife Guard’ pursuant to Advertisement Notice No 03 of 2012; who have already cleared the physical measurements (Height etc.) that the Walk Test of ‘25 km in respect of male candidates and 14 km in respect of female candidates to be completed in 4 hours will be held in Jammu and Srinagar for Jammu and Kashmir based candidates respectively. However, for the candidates who have applied for the posts of Social Forestry Worker, Divisional Cadre Jammu/Kashmir Under Item No (061 and 041), Wildlife Forester, Divisional Cadre Kashmir under Item No (062 and 042) pursuant to
Advertisement Notice No.01 of 2014; Forest Guard, District Cadre Samba, Baramulla and Kulgam Under Item No 362, 303 and 318 respectively pursuant to Advertisement Notice No 03 of 2014; and Forestor, Divisional Cadre Jammu, Under Item no 258 pursuant Advertisement Notice No 05 of 2015, the physical measurement ( Height etc) shall also be conducted before their Walk Test on the same day.
The schedule for Kashmir based candidates will be from 5 th-15th October,2017 and for Jammu based candidates from 20th -30th October,2017 ( in batches which will be reflected on their admit cards).
The exact details of venue and batch timings will be conveyed through admit cards.
Candidates who have applied in multiple advertisements will have to clear a single test (common for all items).
Further, if candidates who have applied pursuant to Advertisement Notice Nos.01 of 2014, 03 of 2014 and 05 of 2015 have already cleared physical measurements in earlier advertisements as mentioned above, they would be considered qualified for the instant walk test as well.
