Notification for Online Applications invited for Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSSS) for College and University students

Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students- Inviting ONLINE applications  for Fresh Batch 2019, Ist Renewal of Batch 2018, 2nd Renewal of Batch 2017 and 3rd renewal of Batch 2019 on National Scholarship Portal

It is notified for information that online scholarship applications under Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSSS) for College and University Students sponsored by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry, of liuman Resource Development (MHRD). New Delhi through the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education arc being invited through National Scholarship Portal (http://scholarships.gov.in) by or before 31st October 2019.

The students }who  have passed their Higher Secondary Examination, Part-11 (Class 12th) Session Annual, Regular, 2018, Kashmir Division/Winter Zone of Jammu Division and Annual Regular 2019 in case of Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division, falling within Top 20 percentile and follow the below mentioned eligibility criteria arc eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria :

The overall family income should not exceed 8 Lakh per annum

The student should not be availing any other scholarship from any other source

The student should be pursuing undergraduate courses (First Year) in any stream from recognized institution within or outside J&K State
