Payment of Dearness allowance to government employee on revised rates effective from 01 .01. 2025

Reference :- Council of Ministers Decision No. 055/11/2025 dated 27.05.2025.

In continuation to the Government Order No. 28-F of 2025 dated 21.01.2025. it is hereby ordered that government employees working in regular pay lath under Pay Commission recommendations shall be paid Dearness Allowance as under:-

i.) The term Basic Pay’ in the revised pay structure means the pay drawn in the prescribed level in the Pay matrix as per 7° Pay Commission recommendations, but does not include any other type of pay like special pay etc. o.

ii) The arrears on account of additional installment of Dearness Allowance with effect from January, 2025 to May, 2025 shall be paid in cash in June, 2025 and shall form part of monthly salary from June, 2025 onwards.

iii.) The payment on account of Dearness Allowance involving fractions of 50 paise and above shall be rounded off to the next higher rupee and the fractions of less than 50 paise may be ignored.
