Rejection of candidature for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil), in Jal Shakti Department.
Whereas, the Jal Shakti Department, vide letter No. HRM60/1/2022-A-JSD(CC-127804) dated 28.04.2023, referred thirty six posts (36) (0M-18, RBA=04, SC=03, ST-03 ALC/1B=01, SLC=02, PSP=0l, EWS=04) of Assistant Engineer (Civil), in Jal Shakti Department, the J&K Public Service Commission, for selection; and,
Whereas, the Commission notified the above posts vide Notification No. 20PSC (DR-P) of 2023 dated: 26.05.2023; and,
Whereas, the written test was conducted on 02.10.2023 and the result thereof was declared vide Notification No. PSC/Exam/S/2023/62 dated 12.10.2023. The viva voce of candidates who qualified the Written Test in the both the Notifications, was conducted on 30.10.2023 to 02.11.2023; and,
Whereas, the recommendation in respect of selected candidates was forwarded to the Department, vide letter dated 22.04.2024 and (01) post under EWS category, was kept withheld, as the EWS category certificate of a candidate, namely, Yawar Hussain, was as per Central format.
Whereas, Mr. Yawar Hussain could not produce the valid EWS category certificate in the format prescribed under J&K Reservation Rules. 2005, as applicable; and,
Now. therefore, the candidature of Mr. Yawar Hussain S/o Riyaz Ahmed, under EWS category, for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Jal Shakti Department, notified, vide Notification No.20-PSC (DR-P) of 2023 dated: 26.05.2023, is hereby rejected
