SKIMS Notice Regarding Document Verification
Junior Resident Positions for the purpose of operating waiting list
Reference: – Result Notification issued vide Notification No. 01 of 2026, dated: 10.01.2026.

WHEREAS, the written examination of all eligible candidates for the requisite positions was
conducted on 04.01.2026 at the University of Kashmir, pursuant to the notification issued vide No. 05 of 2025, dated: 30.10.2025: and
WHEREAS, 883 candidates were called for written test held on 04.01.2026 out of whom only 567 candidates appeared in the OMR based written examination;
WHEREAS, the results/score sheet of the written examination for the positions of Junior Residents was declared vide Notification No. 01 of 2026, dated: 10.01.2026 on SKIMS website; and
WHEREAS, a notice for document verification/counseling was issued vide No: SIMS/305 05/Acad/JR/DV/2026-271 -75, dated: 11.01.2026 by this office.
WHEREAS, a notice for document verification/counselling was issued vide No. SIMS/305
05/Acad./447/24/19S1-55, dated; 06.03.2026 by this office
NOW, THEREFORE, the candidates next in merit, as listed in ANNEXURE A, are advised to
report to the Accademic Section, opposite to Emergency Block SKIMS, Srinagar with the
documents/certificates mentioned below in ORIGINAL for verification and counseling as per the schedule given below:

1) Hard Copy of Online Filled Application Form along with uploads.
2) MBBS Degree Certificate.
3) Permanent Medical Registration Certificate (JK Paramedical council only)
4) Internship Completion Certificate.
5) Date of Birth Certificate.
6) Domicile Certificate.
7) Marks Certificates (10, 12th, MBBS /All Profs. Exams).
8) Any other document. /Certificate required.
